Why do I need to register my pet in the Animal ID database?
Identification of your pet is their chance of getting back home in case they get lost.
All of the pet info is stored in your online pet’s profile: their description, photos, owner’s contact info and pet data,
emergency contacts, copies of veterinary documents. To identify an animal one needs a transponder (microchip) / or a pet id tag.
Both identificators or at least one is linked to your pets profile thus making all important information visible for the finder.
What effective animal identifiers do you offer?
- Animal ID QR pet tag - this is a tag with contact details of the owner and the animal's nickname on the front, and a QR code on the back. When scanning a QR code, an ordinary smartphone accesses the online profile of the animal and its owner, and the owner of the animal receives a message with the GPS coordinates of the animal.
- The transponder (microchip) is a small sterile capsule made of hypoallergenic glass, which houses a microchip with a 15-digit unique number. The capsule is inserted into the skin of the animal and stays for life. The process is simple and painless, reminiscent of a typical injection. The chip can be read by a special scanner and gives access to online information about the animal and its owner.
How much does QR code pet tag costs?
The price varies from $15.99 for a tag with a premade design to $19.99 for a customizable tag with your own photo (tax included).
$5 from each purchase is sent to animal shelters that we have partnered with.
Can I add 2 phone numbers or an emoji to the tag?
Animal ID QR tag can include a telephone number, an animal's nickname, and a matching design on the front. There is always a QR code on the back of the tag.
You can include a second phone number on the front instead of an animal's nickname.
Emojis cannot be included.

I bought an Animal ID QR tag, what should I do next?
The first step is to activate the QR tag.
The QR pet tag binds to an animal's profile only after its activation on https://animal-id.net/en.
Therefore, in order for the QR code scan to open the animal data, the QR tag and profile must be pre-linked through the activation of the tag. Each purchase of the QR tag is accompanied by instructions for the activation process. You will also receive online instructions to your email after the purchase.

The owner can edit personal data (except email) independently from his personal account. To do this,

When I scan the QR code the location is incorrect / unspecified, what should I do?

Attention! Do not take a photo of the QR code of your tag or post it online. Scanning the QR code from a photo won’t show the location of your fluffy friend, but the location of the photo scanning.
